Courtney Hart is a Dallas-based singer-songwriter originally from Allen, Texas, whose creative practice bridges music, dance, and interdisciplinary performance. Her love of dance first sparked her interest in music, and the two art forms have continued to influence one another throughout her artistic development. Blending soulful melodies with introspective lyrics, Hart draws inspiration from indie, blues, alternative, and singer-songwriter traditions. Influenced by artists including Maggie Rogers, Angel Olsen, Laufey, Alice Phoebe Lou, and Matilda Mann, she creates music that is emotionally expressive while remaining open to experimentation and new sounds. Beyond her songwriting and performances, Hart teaches dance and develops interdisciplinary work through Throughline, a movement experience combining live music, improvisation, and artistic collaboration. Her approach celebrates the relationship between sound, movement, and personal expression, inviting audiences to experience creativity across artistic boundaries.
