Artist story and creative journey
I am always willing to experiment and try things in a different way even if it means breaking conventional rules (or laws) to do so. I started out as an event photographer and eventually got tired of nightclub atmosphere and eventually realized that the photos I took in my spare time meant something to others as well.
Inspiration and artistic perspective
I have overcome having my photography equipment stolen and been forced realize that even though I no longer had my camera, images I had taken in the past with that camera still had value in the future
Creative process
I gather inspiration from a wide range of things of but recently I have been intrigued by monochrome and minimalist photography style. My creation process comes down to grabbing my camera and wandering the city or going on hike through the forest.
Experiences that shaped the work
I honestly try to avoid viewing too much work from other photographers and strive to stay in my own lane and create what feels true to me. I have been a photographer for about 15 years. I am motivated by the power of a camera to immortalize any moment in time for a potential eternity. Also its ability to capture details that the naked eye may not be able to see.
