My nature-inspired art is evolving, and it's a direct reflection of the progress and experiences I have had in my life. The mountains stand for stability, resilience, strength, determination, courage, and beauty.  We all face moments of change, love, happiness, joy, sorrow, struggle, courage, and peace. It's the experiences that guide us and define us, making us stronger and never giving up hope. My work is inspired by nature, and I believe that communing with nature not only heals one’s soul but completes it. Working with clay allows me to engage with the earth, and the imagery I apply to the forms continues this motif. I aim to bring the beauty of the natural world into your home, whether it’s enjoyed during your morning coffee, at the dining table, as a decorative centerpiece, or as wall art.

Artist story and creative journey
My work with clay reflects my personal growth and the experiences that shape my life. The mountains, a recurring symbol in my art, represent stability, resilience, strength, determination, courage, and beauty. Like the landscape, we each journey through moments of change, love, joy, sorrow, and renewal, each one guiding and defining us, reminding us never to lose hope. Nature is my greatest inspiration. I believe that connecting with the natural world not only heals the soul but completes it. Working with clay allows me to engage directly with the earth, while the imagery I paint continues this dialogue with nature. My intention is to bring the quiet beauty of the outdoors into your home, whether through a morning coffee mug, a shared meal, a decorative centerpiece, or a piece of wall art that speaks to the spirit of the natural world. I create each piece on the wheel using stoneware and porcelain, blending functionality with artistic expression. My work includes functional ware pottery as well as decorative pieces that are designed to bring beauty and purpose to everyday life. Every piece is one of a kind, distinguished by the hand-brushed motifs that make my work uniquely my own.

Creative process
Each piece is handmade and is one-of-a-kind. No two pieces are identically the same. I wheel-throw and apply my motif to most pots.

What would you like visitors to know
I would like people to have a sense of calmness, peace, and overall feeling that one experiences in the natural world when they pick up my piece.
